Amsterdam: Anne Frank House

This is the Annex in which Anne Frank and her family hid from the Nazi’s for almost two years during WWII in order to avoid persecution for being Jewish. It is here she wrote her now world famous diary of everyday activities in fear of being found.

Tickets for Anne Frank’s house go on sale two months in advance, and they sell out really quickly. My trip to Amsterdam was quite spontaneous so unfortunately I was unable to get a ticket as even the queues for on the day were too long.

You can ONLY buy tickets online: https://www.annefrank.org/en/

It was Anne Frank’s dream to become a famous writer and this became true after her death.

Venue Address:

Anne Frank House
Westermarkt 20
1016 DK Amsterdam
