Freedom Sounds @ Electric Brixton

Humanity 4 Palestine presents Freedom Sounds (London Edition) Benefit Concert featuring US artists Dead Prez, Havoc of the Infamous Mobb Deep, Mobb Deep DJ L.E.S., Big Noyd as well as the UK’s own Lowkey, DJ Snuff and Palestinian Sensation band 47 Soul!

This was a unique event held to benefit various organisations which work directly with Palestinian Children, providing medical aid and support for different needs including Autism and child Amputees. #FreedomSounds

47 Soul an Electro Dabke band formed in Jordan brought that Arabic flava and really hyped the crowd bass blowing through the speakers.

Lowkey was on fire with lyricism and wisdom, always eloquent and real about the brutal injustices in Palestine that can no longer be ignored.

Huda Ammori, Palestinian activist gave this speech mid-set:

DJ Snuff was on the decks doing his thing.

Then came out Infamous MOBB DEEP!! I’ve been waiting to see them for a while (R.I.P Prodigy) Havoc, Big Noyd and DJ L.E.S shut it down!!! Havoc rockin his Kuffieyh in solidarity with Palestine was something special. It was an honor to meet them too, so humble. It felt good to see artists I’ve always respected standing for freedom and justice in Palestine.

If that wasn’t enough the night ended with Dead Prez who came out looking like revolutionaries saying they felt as though they were in a room of revolutionaries!! Props to RainCrew for taking the stage at this point and representing Breakin.

Thank you to Humanity 4 Palestine for organizing, the support was really strong I hope a lot of money and awareness was raised!!!
